About the job:

We are looking for a Test Analyst to join our IT Test Team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward thinking financial services company and gain strong test lifecycle management skills. You will be working with other members of the IT Team as well as other departments where you will gain valuable exposure to the complete software development lifecycle.

You will be working on a range of exciting new web based financial services projects and be involved in writing test plans, test scripts, performing functional testing and automated testing, reporting to management and playing a key part in the delivery of software projects. This is a great role for enthusiastic System Testers to take ownership of the test phases of projects and lead these through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

To ensure that software is thoroughly tested to a level of quality suitable for sign-off.
To develop test conditions and cases.
To engage with other test team and project team members to actively develop testing and system knowledge.
To execute automated and manual system, integration and regression tests as part of project delivery.

The ideal candidate will:

Have a proven Testing background (preferably in a financial institution)
SQL experience
Be a good team worker
Able to work alone when required
Possess excellent communication skills
Have a high level of IT literacy
Highly Motivated
Have experience of testing web based applications
Be experience in testing client/server based applications

Desirable skills and experience:

Experience of writing automated test scripts
VBScript
Experience using Visual Studio 2010
Team Foundation Server experience
Performance testing experience
Experience in a financial environment
